I think anyone, of any race, would feel guilty if they see the suffering of black Americans at the hands of our American institutions and do nothing to help stop it, or if they choose to disbelieve it because it doesn't benefit them to. To see how black people are disproportionately targeted, you have to know the history of slavery, Jim Crow laws, redlining, voter suppression and more. And many white people don't know about these things, because they are purposely kept in the dark by propaganda that tells them it's black people's fault, so don't worry about it. I don't know you, or what you do or don't do with your own life. Only you know if you're doing your part to end inequality so that we can all be free of these monstrous and inhumane systems. I'm not the one dividing the country. The country is divided. On purpose. It was set up that way. Pretending it isn't true isn't going to make it go away.
